Who you'll be working with
I'm Dinku Adale. I spent more than six years as a security consultant at Accenture, deploying data-loss prevention and endpoint protection across more than 120 servers worldwide for energy clients, and writing security policy built on federal standards for a state healthcare program serving millions of residents.
I hold a Master's in Computer Science from Howard University, where my research was in information security. Now I bring the same discipline to the place most families are least protected: home.
Questions families ask
How is this different from Geek Squad?
Tech support sets up devices. This visit is about security: stopping account takeover, identity theft, and scam calls, with a written plan your family keeps.
We already pay for Aura or LifeLock. Do we still need this?
Keep it. Monitoring tells you after something happens. The visit puts in the freezes, locks, and family habits that stop it happening, and I'll make sure your monitoring is set up properly.
Can I book this for my parents?
Yes. Your parent needs to agree and be present, since the changes are on their phone and accounts. Many families do the visit together so everyone learns the safe-word routine.
Do you come to my area?
I'm based in Pearland and do in-home visits across greater Houston, including Pearland, Friendswood, Sugar Land, Clear Lake, League City, Katy, Fulshear, and The Woodlands. Visits more than 25 miles from Pearland carry a flat $60 travel fee. Outside Houston, the Remote Session covers almost everything by video.
What if we've already been scammed?
Call your bank first, using the number on the back of your card. Then report at IdentityTheft.gov and ic3.gov. I can help lock down your accounts afterward, but I don't investigate crimes or recover lost funds.
What should I have ready?
Your phones, computers, and tablets, access to your router, and the ability to sign into your main email and bank accounts. The questionnaire tells me the rest.
